WHAT THE NCC DOES
- Advises the Government of Ghana on implications of food standards, quality and safety in relation to food trade.
- Constitutes Technical or Expert Committees on subject matters in relation to Committees of the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC).
- Formulates national Positions on relevant subject matters for the Codex Alimentarius Commission.
- Identifies organizations/institutions to take actions on food safety issues and where necessary, commission studies to generate data.
SUBSIDIARY COMMITTEES OF THE NCC
The NCC has established sub-committees on subject and commodity matters corresponding to Committees of the Codex Alimentarius Commission.
